LOVE/HATE ANNOUNCES FIRST-EVER AUSTRALIAN TOUR
Celebrating 35 Years of Blackout in the Red Room with a Full Album Performance, plus material from the entire Love/Hate catalogue.
For the first time in their storied career, Love/Hate is set to ignite Australian stages with an electrifying tour celebrating the 35th anniversary of their seminal debut album, Blackout in the Red Room. This landmark event will feature the album performed in its entirety, alongside selections from the entire Love/Hate catalogue.
Released in 1990, Blackout in the Red Room captured the raw energy of the Sunset Strip with tracks like "Why Do You Think They Call It Dope?", "Rock Queen", and the title track. Whilst the band stood out aesthetically and sonically from their LA counterparts at the time, the albums influence resonated deeply within the glam, sleaze, hard rock and metal communities, becoming a cult classic celebrated for its rebellious spirit and unforgettable hooks.
Love/Hate is fronted by Jizzy Pearl, a name that needs no introduction given Jizzy stands as a luminary of the Los Angeles metal scene with a career spanning over four decades.
As the frontman of Love/Hate, Jizzy delivered the bands critically acclaimed debut, and then its brilliant follow up “Wasted In America”. The band has continued to release albums, with the only constant being its frontman, since 1993 and capped by their latest 2025 release, “Punk Rock Fiesta!” which has been lauded for its infectious energy and unapologetic sound.
Beyond Love/Hate, Pearl's dynamic vocals have graced bands like L.A. Guns, Ratt and for the past twelve years, he has been the frontman of Quiet Riot and their relentless touring schedule. Pearl has certainly solidified his legacy in hard rock history.
This tour promises an unparalleled experience for fans of glam, sleaze, and hard rock. Witnessing Jizzy Pearl's powerhouse vocals and the band's relentless performance is a rare opportunity for Australian audiences.
As Get Ready To Rock noted during the bands recent UK tour, “Love/Hate frontman Jizzy Pearl led his current incarnation of the band through a decade-defying gig that was reminiscent of the original band back in the day”
With limited tickets available, fans are encouraged to secure their spots promptly to avoid missing this rare chance to see and hear one of the most recognisable voices in hard rock on our shores.
